Hands Helping Heroes is excited to launch a new Veterans Resource Meeting on the first Thursday of every month, beginning Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 9:00 AM. These free monthly meetings will give veterans an opportunity to learn about resources and benefits that may make a meaningful difference for them and their families—all in a relaxed, welcoming environment with coffee and a light breakfast.
Each month, we'll highlight different resources and bring information and connections directly to veterans. Topics may include VA Community Care options for services such as massage therapy, acupuncture, and physical therapy; in-home care resources and programs that may compensate qualifying family caregivers; VA home loans; health and wellness resources; community programs; and much more. Our goal is simple: help veterans better understand what resources exist, where to start, and who they can connect with when they need help.
Attendance is completely FREE, but we ask everyone to register in advance so we can make sure we have enough coffee, breakfast, seating, and materials for everyone. Come learn something new, ask questions, meet other veterans, and discover resources you may not have known were available to you.
